Our Staff
New Jersey civil rights lawyer Tom Barron learned basic constitutional law as an assistant county prosecutor and criminal defense attorney. He has continued to represent law enforcement unions and officers in a variety of cases including actions alleging police misconduct, excessive force and improper arrests and detentions. He has represented many persons who have been the victims of employment discrimination based upon age, race, sex, disability, national origin and religious affiliation. Although Mr. Barron’s practice is primarily trial based, he has experience in handling discrimination cases before the EEOC and New Jersey’s Division on Civil Rights.
Diana R. Sever is a former law clerk to the Honorable Ronald E. Bookbinder, current Presiding Judge of the Chancery Division for the Superior Court of New Jersey, Burlington County. Since that time, Ms. Sever has appeared before federal and state courts and administrative agencies to defend municipalities, police officers and other public employees against various claims of constitutional infringement, including charges of false arrest, police misconduct, excessive force and due process violations.
